Fahrenheit is a celebration of today’s best popular science books, helping curious minds find newly published books on physics, life sciences, science communication, and even the science of science. Nelson Noven helps you find the most accessible books for non-scientists and sort the facts from the pseudoscience. You can sign up to receive weekly recommendations in your email inbox here. Also, follow Fahrenheit on Instagram and Facebook.
Nelson Noven is a science blogger, illustrator, and book publishing professional. She has led campaigns for science books such as GoatMan by Thomas Thwaites (a project that won the 2016 Ig Noble Prize in Biology) and Melting Away by Camille Seaman (a photographic depiction of climate change). Nelson Noven was the scientific correspondent for Anglonerd magazine (2014-2017). She was a volunteer at the World Science Festival 2018 and is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences and The Planetary Society. You can follow her on Twitter or Instagram.
In full disclosure, Nelson Noven does work for Macmillan, but Fahrenheit began before that, and rest assured that it remains a publisher-agnostic book club.
